Description

The training covers types of hazards and methods for identifying hazardous factors, the sequential stages of risk assessment, and determination of risk categories. Special attention is given to the hierarchy of control measures and the development and implementation of effective risk management tools.

The course includes study of the Risk Assessment Map for on the job Instruction (TRIC), requirements for its application, and use during workplace briefings. Topics on monitoring, audits, and record-keeping are also addressed.

The practical part includes examples of documentation preparation and hands-on exercises in risk assessment and development of the TRIC.
