Course "First Aid Training"

The course is aimed at developing employees’ basic knowledge and practical skills in providing first aid to victims in the workplace and in everyday life. As part of the training, the fundamental provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of health protection and occupational safety are reviewed, as well as the requirements for providing first aid in the workplace.

During the course, the following topics are covered:
• employee responsibilities when providing first aid;
• procedures for calling emergency medical services and interacting with medical personnel;
• first aid algorithms for injuries, burns, bleeding, poisoning, and electric shock;
• rules for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
• use of first aid kits and personal protective equipment when providing assistance.

The practical part includes:
• practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills on mannequins;
• demonstration of proper application of bandages and tourniquets;
• practical exercises in providing assistance for various injuries and emergency conditions;
• simulation of typical emergency situations and employees’ actions before the arrival of medical professionals.
